about

We first started to work this theme with our dear friend, Elaine Lemire, it was going to be a duet, we were writing stuff back and forth. Things were going quite well but Elaine’s schedule forced her to bow out. She did leave us with some great lines and a wonderfully combative spirit. We put the tune on the back backburner. Then, I don’t quite remember, we were almost done with the compositions, I think. Bob came up with this idea of linking the number 18 to 3 x 6...ya know..... the favourite metal theme. I thought it was genius, the first thing that came into my mind was my 18 years and how my parents and most other adults in my life must have felt that I was the 3rd cousin of the Anti-Christ. So we called our bestest pal, Richard ‘’Trickster’’ Lanthier and went with that.

lyrics

I like to play the numbers
The numbers love to play me
We’re sailing in Tequilas
I just got to celebrate
Yeah yeah yeah..

I was six years old and feeling kinda bold
Find some shelter with the elders
I can be the master.....

Break out!
We’ve got to break this mould.
Do what we’re told NO More!

Eighteen! time to break the rules,
Takin’ back our dues
We’ll be your fools no more

It’s absolutely numbing
I’ve just turned 12 and humming
I’m barkin’ at the moon
and no one’s gonna stop me coming.

godamned volume’s at eleven
My chest collapsing from the drumming
Close your eyes and go to heaven
Easier said than done
Sounds like it looks, loud and ferocious
Count me in for your Electric Circus

Break out
We’ve got to break this mould.
Do what we’re told NO More!

Eighteen
Time to break the rules,
Takin’ back our dues
We’ll be your fools no more

Break out
We’ve got to break this mould.
Do what we’re told NO More!

Six and Six and Six - your score
Coiled up here, on the floor
You could take it to the limit
Yes you can.....yes you can,

We can take it to the limit,
We can take it to the limit
